High schools |
The committee seeking to reinstate Bill Resler as head coach of the girls basketball team at Roosevelt High School has disbanded.
The group met with Resler, who told them he was supporting new coach Gregg Kalina and asked them to do the same.
Resler was fired Nov. 9, three days before the team’s first practice. Roosevelt and Seattle School District officials have not said why Resler was fired.
Kalina is a Roosevelt alum who has been an assistant coach at Roosevelt and O’Dea.
